Greg Laney has been working in human resources since 1994. He started out as a recruiter, moved into staffing and generalist roles. In 2000, Greg followed his passion and began specializing in Compensation. At present, his key focus is global data analytics, with a strong focus on organizational design. He currently serves as the President of the Atlanta Area Compensation Association.
Greg received a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from the University of Alabama and a Masters of Arts in Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management.
After taking web development classes, Greg set out to share his insights into the world of Compensation with those that are not privy to the behind-the-scenes conversations that take place when pay rates are determined. He spends his time:
- * helping educate people on common compensation practices.
- * finding and developing resources to share with others.
- * speaking with groups about compensation-related topics.
- * educating employers on streamlining effective compensation practices.
